The cabin
The cabin sits on 4 acres surrounded by woods, near waterfalls, the National Forest, Lake Rabun, Lake Seed, and Lake Burton. It's in a quiet community with a fully equipped kitchen, great views, and plenty to do.
Outside you have an outdoor grill, a fire pit, and lots of space. The road is not very busy, so morning and afternoon strolls are in order.
You'll have full access to the cabin and the four acres around it, including the fire pit and the grill.

The area
The Flat Creek community is nestled in the mountains between Lake Seed and Lake Rabun, and both are about a mile from the cabin. Minnehaha Falls is about 3 miles away, along with lesser-known waterfalls we're happy to point you to.
Boat, paddleboard, and kayak rentals are available just down the hill. You'll want a car for the local attractions, though biking and walking are nice right around the cabin.

Lake Seed and Lake Rabun are each about a mile away. The roads are hilly, so most guests drive the short distance with their gear. The quiet road right by the cabin is great for walks.
Boat, paddleboard, and kayak rentals are just down the hill. On Lake Rabun, Bear Gap Outfitters takes reservations, and on Lake Burton, LaPrade's rents boats. Summer weekends fill up, so reserve well ahead. We'll share contact details with your booking.
Many of our guests are families. There are bunk beds, four acres of yard to explore, and beaches and short waterfall trails nearby.
The internet has been upgraded and works well for streaming and everyday use. There's also a 50 inch TV with Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and cable.
The driveway is fine in winter. The roads getting here wind through the mountains, though, and can be a challenge after significant snow or ice. If a storm is in the forecast, plan extra travel time, and an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle is a good idea.
